Phase 2 – Identifying Credible Sources of Health Information in Social Media

The Council of Medical Specialty Societies (CMSS), in collaboration with the National Academy of Medicine (NAM), and the World Health Organization (WHO), is pleased to invite you to participate in a Call for Comment regarding the Identifying Credible Sources of Health Information in Social Media Phase 2 Project: Considerations for Non-accredited Nonprofit Organizations, For-profit Entities, and Individual Sources. Click here for full details on the program and the Advisory Committee.

In Phase 2, an Advisory Committee convened by CMSS, in collaboration with NAM and WHO, has taken the principles and attributes established in Phase 1 as a foundation to evaluate an expanded set of health information sources, including other nonprofit entities, for-profit entities, and individuals, with an eye towards global applicability. The proposed Phase 2 considerations for public comment are based on deliberations of the Advisory Committee.
