Health & Safety Protocols for the CMSS 2022 Annual Meeting

In-Person Attendees must show proof of *up to date COVID-19 vaccination or a daily negative test in order to pick up an attendee badge.

Virtual participation is available for Wednesday Professional Peer Group (PPG) Meetings.

  • Vaccination:
    • To ensure safety for all in-person participants in Washington, DC, and unless otherwise prohibited by applicable law, the CMSS Annual Meeting is a COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIRED event for all attendees, exhibitors, and staff. Proof of *up to date COVID-19 vaccination will be required.
      • *You are up to date with your COVID-19 vaccines if you have completed a COVID-19 vaccine primary series and received the most recent booster dose recommended for you by CDC.
    • In the event one is not fully vaccinated due to health or religious reasons, results of a daily negative test must be submitted each day of participation.
    • All in-person attendees will receive separate instructions to verify their COVID-19 vaccination status via CLEAR HealthPass.
  • Masking:
    • CMSS requires that masks be worn by all attendees, exhibitors, and staff at all times when not actively eating or drinking.
    • Masks may be removed by speakers during their presentations.
    • Masks will be available at the registration desk.
  • Testing and Monitoring:
    • CMSS recommends attendees complete a self-check health screening and home test prior to departure from home to avoid unnecessary travel.
    • Attendees should perform daily self-checks, isolate and test if they become ill, and notify CMSS (registration@cmss.org) if they test positive during or immediately after the meeting.
    • A limited supply of rapid tests will be available at the registration desk.
  • Updates:
    • CMSS reserves the right to update these Health & Safety Protocols in advance of the event and will notify all registrants of any changes.
