CMSS Announces New Public Member to the Board of Directors

CMSS is pleased to announce that following a broad special call for applications, Tara Montgomery has been elected to serve on the CMSS Board of Directors as the Public Member.

Tara Montgomery is Founder & Principal of Civic Health Partners, an independent consulting practice working with purpose-driven organizations to develop trustworthy leadership and public engagement strategies. A longtime patient and public interest advocate who previously led health strategies at Consumer Reports, she writes and speaks about how health policy and practice shape patient experience and outcomes. As Public Member, Ms. Montgomery will provide patient perspectives and the voice of the public in the CMSS board’s deliberations and decision-making and will increase the board’s accountability and responsiveness to the patient community.
