CMSS Annual Meeting 2026: Call for Proposals

CMSS is excited to extend this Call for Proposals to contribute to the educational program of the CMSS Annual Meeting 2026.

This year’s meeting theme is Leading Through Disruption: Specialty Societies in a Changing Landscape.

We encourage you to submit one or more proposals on this theme.

Timeline

• May 21: Call for Proposals Open
• July 9 at 11:59 PM ET: Proposals Due
• Week of August 17: Presenter Notification
• November 18-20: CMSS Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA

Process

The Annual Meeting Program Committee, comprised of leaders from across the CEO Council, PPGs, and Board of Directors, has the responsibility to review and rank all submissions and determine selections for presentation at the Annual Meeting. The committee will also determine the format of each presentation. Please indicate your format preference during the submission process.
Options include:

• Concurrent Session Presentation (your proposal will be paired with 1-2 presentations on a similar topic)
• ePoster Presentation (you will produce a digital poster for a poster gallery, limit 2 presenters)
• Panel Session (at least 1 moderator and 2 panelists required)
• Rapid Fire 5-minute Idea Exchange (limit 1 presenter)

Multiple proposals may be combined into a single session if synergy is identified in the review process. Proposals may be selected for either a plenary or concurrent audience.

1. Staff or leader affiliated with a CMSS Membership Organization

2. Industry Partner submitting with a CMSS Membership Organization

Note: Every proposal must include at least one presenter from a CMSS Membership Organization. This includes CMSS member societies, associate members, or OPDA members. The proposal may also include other individuals not affiliated with CMSS (i.e. Industry Partners).
